Pro Bono Recruitment Initiative with Leading Legal Publisher

PBN and American Lawyer Media have launched a new initiative to heighten awareness of pro bono issues and resources in New York City on its popular New York Law Journal web site. The main goal for PBN is to increase volunteer participation with legal aid and pro bono groups in NYC (and soon other parts of the country).

As we close out the year, there is some great news to report on the funding front.  In addition to additional grants from traditional funders, the Open Society Institute and the Legal Services Corporation, PBN and its partners -- The Bronx Defenders and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network -- are happy to report several new grants, including from some new funders of the network.
