And Now, a Word from Our Users . . . by Mark O'Brien
We believe that the web is an effective way to distribute legal information to folks in need of help, but what do our users think? Many of the LawHelp states receive feedback from the public through the online Feedback Form. Here are two recent examples of comments from people who used LawHelp/NY to answer legal quetions.
Feedback was sent from the LawHelp/NY web site: ========================================= Name: Tina J. City: Brooklyn State: New York Feedback: This web site helped me a tremendous amount. Keep updating it and keep up the good work. Whoever created this web site should get a standing ovation, they did a very good job putting it together. If it wasn't for them I would not know the things that I do today. Which came in handy. Thank you.
Feedback was sent from the LawHelp/NY web site: ========================================= Name: Thom W. City: Glens Falls State: New York Feedback: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating a wonderful resource of information. I recently found myself in hard situation and I couldn't afford my own attorney. So I went to my local public library in Glens Falls to use their computers to see if I could find any information on the web. When I got to there, I came across a flyer advertising your website. I immediately found information under the "know your rights" section of your site. The information was very helpful and it provided me with enough information that I was able to file papers and hopefully remedy my situation. I found your site easy to use and I hope you continue to keep the site up for others. Thank you very much. [PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION] | | | | | |
