This year, as Pro Bono Net celebrates our 15th anniversary, we thank you for being part of the journey.

Celebrating our 15th Anniversary
Pro Bono Net launched our first site in 1999 with start-up support from the Open Society Institute. We set out to increase the amount and quality of pro bono services in New York City by leveraging newly available web technologies to help lawyers learn about pro bono opportunities, obtain training, collaborate on cases, and access a wide array of legal resources. Take a look back at our first few years in operation.

Program News Expands to Massachusetts
MassProBono, a site 15 years in the works, launched in late April. Barbara Siegel, of the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association, told us the history behind the site and the exciting plans for how it will bolster legal services in the Commonwealth.

Human Trafficking Legal Access Center Launched in April
Pro Bono Net partnered with the American Bar Association and Polaris Project on a new initiative to serve human trafficking survivors.
